Inspiration boards are in full swing in the studio! Before I start making a new range I always start by pulling together imagery to create an inspiration board. This could be from things I have found online, in magazines, books as well as what I have found when I’ve been out-and-about. My camera roll is often a great resource bank too so I trawl through the images I have taken over the last month or so to find some interesting ideas.

Inspiration can come from all sorts of places. As you can see here, this could be fabrics, ceramics, a piece of clothing or an art piece.

This inspiration board is a little glimpse into my thinking for one of the new ranges I am creating.

I’m also developing colour palette ideas alongside this. Brown & blue is exciting me at the moment but I’m still trying to pin down a completed palette. I will share more with you next week…
